get a normal deck of cards

get the audience to shuffle the cards

put the top card on the table and then put the other cards on the table so that it adds up to thirteen. for example if the first card you put on the table is a nine you would put 4 more cards on top. do this until you cant do anymore piles

turn around and tell 3 people to take a pile each and to flip it over. then collect the other cards and put them with the other spare cards.

step 5
|
there will be 3 piles left on the table. turn the top card on two of them over then say you can predict what the top card for the 3rd pile is.

step 6
|
with the left over cards deal out ten of them and then do the numbers of the flipped over cards. after you have done that count up the left over cards that are in your hand. the amount of cards that are left in your hand is the number that will be on the unflipped card.
